Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been acknowledged as the composer for The One Direction band. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools, created a band named White Eskimo with three fellow students. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they won. Even though he had always had an interest in music but despite his enthusiasm for it, he wished to pursue a career as a lawyer and an physiotherapist. When he worked at the city's baker, Harry Styles was able to feed his family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. The group was then forced to break up due to this. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the group that was to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. The formation of the group was a fact in 2010, and the five young people were supported by Simon Cowell. The group was backed by Simon Cowell and were the first to sing Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You along with Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. The group was among the top contenders in the competition. But they finished in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell was a millionaire as part of a deal for One Direction.
