Anita Sarkeesian, a Canadian/American media critic is also a public speaker. Feminist Frequency is a site with video and an online blog analysing portrayals female characters in popular culture. Anita Sarkeesian a Canadian American media critic. She is the creator and executive director of Feminist Frequency which is an education not-for-profit website that explores representations of women in popular culture narratives. In her efforts to break down stereotypes of women that exist in pop media, she is also working with issues that relate to the targeted harassment women and different classes of individuals online. Sarkeesian holds a bachelor's degree in political thought and social theory from York University. She is an extremely well-respected and respected public speaking. Sarkeesian gave speeches to the TEDxWomen Festival as well as to the United Nations Broadband Working Group. As a university student Sarkeesian was concerned about issues related to gender identity and women's rights from a young age. The ambitious lady planned to start an internet-based series on gender representation in games, and was then the victim of an online harassment campaign. The woman was not stopped by the assault, the fact is that it only bolstered her drive to become a media critic and feminist. Sarkeesian has been awarded numerous awards for her numerous significant contributions to the world of feminism.
