Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. She is best known for her part as Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and was also the director and performed in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also starred in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born to a psychiatrist as well as the wife of Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8, 1977. Danielle is her sister who is also an artist. His father was Jewish as is her mom. She was born and raised in the state of Alabama. Southern Baptist Benson grew up at the Reform synagogue located in Alabama. Since Buffy ended Benson has been in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series.
